WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 for PlayStation 3 allows players to get in the ring and experience all of the action of professional wrestling. This release of Smackdown vs. Raw features an even bigger roster of wrestlers than previous games in the franchise. In co-op story mode for this wrestling video game, players reenact all of the major story lines for Smackdown vs. Raw while competing to win the championship. As with previous games in the franchise, WWE Smackdown vs. Raw 2009 for PlayStation 3 brings back the Create-A-Superstar feature. Players can make custom characters with their own finishing moves. These custom players can be used in career mode, where they can work their way up to become the next WWE superstars. The wrestling video game allows up to four players to play at once either in co-op mode or against each other.
